Renovation-triggered fire

Renovation work caused a small fire in the roof of a building that was once the Caisse Populaire on Casavant blvd. The fire was controlled very rapidly with a portable ABC extinguisher, and firefighters did the necessary verifications, taking good care of not causing more unnecessary damage while taking out roof pieces.
