Major collision in St-Damase

A tragic collision occured twenty minutes after the beginning of Christmas day in St-Damase when a minivan impacted a car.

The 17-year-old driver died from his injuries, while the minivan's passengers - including two children- were severely injured.

The rescue operation was conducted by Saint-Hyacinthe's firefighters rescue squad, St-Damase's firefighters, Ambulance Saint-Hyacinthe's paramedics and police officers of the Sûreté du Québec.
